Special Events, Craft Shows & Trade Shows

The operator of a swap meet, flea market, fair, carnival, festival, circus or other transient selling event is required to maintain a current list of vendors conducting business on the premises as sellers. (24)

 

If you are a vendor, you will require a Transaction Privilege Tax License for the state/city/county.  Visit AZ Department of Revenue for more information. You may also require a city business license and a city permit.

To use state highway right of way for a special event, a Special Event Permit is required and certain requirements must be met.

There are many types of special events. They include parades and processions, races and tours, rest-area coffee breaks, and placement of banners and decorations. (24)
