If you plan to be in the business of felling, producing or preparing timber for sale, you may be subject to transaction privilege (sales) tax (TPT)/licensing under the Timbering & Other Extraction classification. The same is true if you plan to be in the business of extracting, refining or producing any oil or natural gas for sale.
