SBA HUBZone Program

The U.S. Small Business Administration HUBZone Certification program helps the historically underutilized business zone (HUBZone) companies compete for government contracts. Small businesses located in rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities. The company must maintain a principal office in one of the specifically designated areas and employ 35% of their staff who live in any HUBZone area. (24)
