Effective July 1, 2016, private employment agencies that charge fees to applicants are no longer licensed nor regulated by the Industrial Commission of Arizona, Labor Department. The types of private employment agencies that are no longer licensed by the department include placement agencies, career counseling firms, model and talent agencies, domestic service agencies, and sitter services.

Employment agencies are regulated by the Arizona Revised Statutes. You may also wish to consult your attorney for assistance. (21)
